Income Generating Free content
Trying to find and publish fresh original content can be exhausting and time consuming unless you are lucky enough to be a born writer. Luckily you can use PLR and whatever you can find in the public domain. BUT you cannot just publish the articles as they are.
A lot of people will have the same content you have and hundreds of the same article as yours will do you no good at all.
What you need to do is to use the PLR content to give you new ideas. Try to look at things from a different angle or perspective. For example, you have an article entitled "Safety in Diving" and another " Diving in the Bahamas".
You combine the two and have a new article titled "Ten Things Not to do When diving in The Bahamas" then add your own unique views and experiences to the article. If you can, make lists readers love lists. Then check for duplicate content at http://www.articlechecker.com/
Article Spinning
Once done, it's time spin the article you can use the best article spinner I have used out of the half dozen or so I have tried at Ezarticlelink. << This site is in prelaunch phase and free memberships are still available.
I know this still sound like a lot of work, but it becomes a lot easier over time. Another good idea is to make a directory called Scrapbook somewhere and whenever you find an interesting site, article or email copy it to this directory and browse the directory when you are stuck for ideas
Private Label Rights
There are two PLR sites you can get great content from with free to join options. The first one, and one of the biggest on the web is Indigital. << They have loads of content and tons of articles on every niche market under the sun.
Then there is Plrbookclub << this link will take you to their free signup page. What I like about them is they email you with links to new content for download.
Both of these sites are worth upgrading your membership to paid the moment you have your first website income. With paid membership you will have access to a lot more content and a lot less people will have the same content you do.
Public Domain Content
You can find a lot of usable content in the public domain – everything from books to images to audio. As long as the copyright on the work has expired, you can do what you wish with it.
Unfortunately the Public domain content requires more work then PLR content. If you just using sites like gutenberg.com you won't find much as most of the public domain work has not been digitalized.
To find the real gems you need to get the physical work itself and OCR scan or type it into digital format. You can make a whole e-info book without writing a word yourself.
The First Step
You need to go to http://www.worldcat.org and login Wordcat is a database which links the card catalogs of libraries around the world. Do a search using your keywords with the date range 1823-1923 you will get a list of titles from that search.
When you click on a title you will get the library closest to you containing that work. We can now click on the web link to that library's website, and fill out my Interlibrary Loan Request to check out the book
The Second Step
This requires the most work as you now have physical books that you need to convert to digital format. You have two choices here
- Find someone that can type for a low rate.
- Scan the book with Optical Character Recognition software
Once done add graphics format and edit the text as desired then convert to PDF format you now have your own unique e-info book to sell.
